we ship from our storefront. At times higher than predicted sales online or in our physical store will cause some items to be temporarily out of stock. Additionally, If an item is out of stock for several weeks, we attempt to provide you with the best information we can on anticipated delivery dates or offer alternative options. Please make us aware of any date requirements you have in the comment section when checking out.
We have made our best effort to fairly represent our products online. Please be aware that photos at times do not capture the true colors of some products. Additionally, photos appearance may vary between computer monitors. Whenever possible, we will attempt to include all items ordered in one shipment with one invoice. Due to inventory and packaging requirements orders may be shipped over several days in multiple packages.
SHIPPING COSTS:
Free shipping items: Returns/Exchanges on free shipping items (anything that is not our fault) will be charged the original shipping costs. Free shipping is always basic, 1st Class Shipping (or Ground of larger items), expediated shipping on free shipping will require the customer paying the difference between free shipping and the expediated shipping of their choosing, which will be billed after the order is completed or we will refund the free shipping if expediated shipping is paid for
We ship all orders as soon as possible and aim to ship within 1-3 business days. Average delivery time is 3-10 business days depending on the destination. *If you place your order after 4PM PST on Friday, or over the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), your order will be processed on the following business day. If longer you will receive email notification if it is not specified on the product page. If your item is on back-order, we will contact you. Orders are not usually processed or shipped on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays expect for special circumstances. AustinCavalier typically uses USPS, but not limited to FedEx, UPS and other shipping methods.
When your order is shipped partially or in full, you will receive an email indicating it has shipped. Once your order ships you will receive an automated email with tracking information You can also log into your account and track your package through our website if tracking is indicated. Some packages tracking is not available until after the package has been delivered.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by AustinCavalier or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability. Most items can be shipped internationally, please contact us for international shipping rates before you place your order. If you place your international order, we will send you an email with the shipping charges and charge your card. If you paid by PayPal, we can send you a PayPal invoice, on request. If your card is unable to be re-charged, we will need a new card to charge for the shipping, before we can process your order. Specialty items...please allow 7-10 business days for shipping (business days do not include weekends or holidays. At busy times like the start of football season and Christmas, shipping can be longer, sometimes up to 4 weeks. (Especially personalized items) depending how backed up the manufacturers are at the time. We always do our best to rush orders if we can.
It is AustinCavaliers policy to try and send you a shipping confirmation with a tracking number within 24-48 hours after your order ships, but there are times when we this doesn't happen.

Sometimes items ship from manufacturers directly and sometimes the manufacturers do not provide us with the confirmations and tracking. In that case, you would not receive a shipping confirmation. Please call for tracking. At extremely busy times at AustinCavalier, we sometimes get too backed up to send shipping confirmations. If you notice your shipment time has come and gone and you have not received a confirmation, please contact us for tracking.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
*Free shipping is not available to International orders and some items do not qualify due to size and weight, such as carriers, beds and furniture etc. If you have any questions regarding shipping costs, please email us.
Most bowls and or treats/cakes do not qualify due to special packaging to ensure a safe shipment.
Please be aware that additional shipping costs will apply to all International Shipping. Shipping costs will be shown at check out before placing your order.
If the item is large or oversized, we will notify you if any additional shipping costs will be incurred in some cases. All Shipping costs are automatically calculated by USPS costs.
All international orders are shipped with tracking. Customer is responsible for any taxes or duty charges.
International orders may require additional processing time because of shipping all in one package versus from multiple warehouses.
DELIVERY:
AustinCavalier is not responsible for incorrect addresses given, refused shipments or unclaimed shipments. We have no control over mail delivery once it leaves our boutique so please check with the carrier if we show it shipped and you have not received it.
If your tracking number has indicated that your package has been delivered, please contact your Local Post Office for better assistance.
AustinCavalier is unable to assist if the package is indicating that it is delivered.
Please note with USPS, you may experience shipping delays. We have the same tracking information you have and can only see what you can see in the USPS’s tracking system. We do not receive any additional information from the carrier. AustinCavalier cannot replace lost, damaged or stolen items via USPS.
Deliveries may take longer than expected because of incorrect shipping address, bad weather, stringent customs clearance procedures, or any other unavoidable circumstances.
Please allow USPS up to 24 hours after shipment to show a delivery estimate.
ORDER PAYMENT:
All customers are charged at the time of purchase. All payments are in USD. Paying in local currency means your home bank handles the currency conversion; they will convert the currency from USD to Local currency for you.
ORDER CHANGE OR CANCELLATION:
Please note that once orders are placed, we cannot cancel or change orders. We are here to help in many ways, if you need any assistance, please contact us prior to placing your order.
HOLIDAY SEASON:
During the holiday season, processing time can take up to 10 days. If you are in need of item(s) for a specific holiday, please contact prior to placing your order to see if it would make it in time. There is no guarantee your order will arrive in time due to any shipping delays that may occur in transit.
With the rise of package theft during the holidays, we strongly advise you choose your shipping address carefully. If you are concerned about package theft, please understand all of your shipping options to help minimize theft.
Here are some tips we have found to be helpful:
1. Ship to your work address
2. Ship to a neighbor’s address that you trust and will be home at the time of delivery.
3. Ask us to request your shipment be signed for someone at your address.
